Basil - non-GMO, heirloom, open pollinated
This basil has a sweet fragrance and is slow to bolt. Its large, green leaves average 2" long.
Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost, or sow directly once soil temperatures have reached at least 70°F. Pinching plants will help to create a bushy luscious basils.
Sow heavily and thin to the most vigorous seedlings. Basil likes hot wether and will not perform below 50°F.
